Afterroar: The Feeling After a Night Well Played

Afterroar

/ af·ter·roar /

The feeling that lingers after a night well played.

afterroar

/ˈaf.tər.rɔːr/

noun · coined 2025 by Full Uproar Games

1. The emotional afterglow of a night well played: the mix of laughter, chaos, connection, and shared experience that makes you want to do it again.

“That game night left us all with serious afterroar. We were still quoting each other at brunch the next day.”

2. The buzz on the drive home. The inside jokes that stick. The stories you're still laughing about the next day. What happens when a night isn't just fun in the moment: it becomes a memory worth repeating.

“It's not about who won. It's about the afterroar.”

Origin: English, 2025. From after (following in time) + roar (uproarious laughter, the raw sound of people having the time of their lives). Coined by Full Uproar Games. Trademark pending.

You Know the Feeling

The car ride home where everyone's still laughing about what just happened. That's afterroar.

The group chat at 2 AM: nothing but voice notes, inside jokes, and “when are we doing this again?” That's afterroar.

Bringing it up weeks later and the whole table loses it all over again. That's afterroar.
